The National Press Club Malaysia (NPC) hosted Olivier Sigaud, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of France in Malaysia, and Benoit Hiberty, the embassy’s First Secretary Political and Press Counsellor, at the clubhouse in Kuala Lumpur earlier this evening.
They were joined by NPC president, Datuk Ahirudin Attan, and members of the club.
The conversations that dominated the dinner table ranged from France’s relationship with Malaysia and other Southeast Asian nations, music, and even football.
In welcoming Sigaud, Ahirudin hoped that the casual meeting would ignite more events involving the NPC and the French Embassy.
He also hoped to see more diplomats visit the club in the near future.
