RTM cameraman Mohamad Amirul Amin Amir, was one of the three wounded during a shooting incident along the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu coastal expressway in Georgetown in December 2016.
Amirul, 28, was shot once in the shoulder while he was on a motorcycle. Amirul was on his way to the Pesta grounds in Sungai Nibong to cover a function with a fellow member of the media when the incident took place. NPC President Datuk Haji Mokhtar Hussain, visited Amirul and handed over some contribution from the JWF to help with his medical expenses.
